Applying temporary tattoos

1. Choose a Spot: Pick where you want the tattoo on your skin. Make sure the area is clean, dry, and free of oils or lotions.
2. Cut Out the Tattoo: If your temporary tattoo is part of a larger sheet, cut around the design, leaving a small margin.
3. Peel Off the Protective Layer: Most temporary tattoos have a clear protective sheet on top. Gently peel this off.
4. Place the Tattoo: Put the tattoo face down on your skin in the spot you chose.
5. Wet the Tattoo: Use a wet cloth or sponge to dab the back of the paper. Make sure to wet it thoroughly so the design transfers to your skin.
6. Wait: Hold the wet cloth or sponge on the tattoo for about 30 seconds. Be patient and make sure not to move it.
7. Peel Off the Paper: Carefully peel off the paper backing. Do it slowly to make sure the tattoo has transferred completely.
8. Let It Dry: Let the tattoo air dry for a few minutes. Avoid rubbing it while it dries to keep the design intact.
9. Enjoy Your Tattoo: Once it's dry, your temporary tattoo is ready! It should last a few days, depending on how well you take care of it.

To keep your tattoo looking good, try not to rub it too much and avoid putting lotions or oils over it. When you're ready to remove it, most temporary tattoos come off easily with a bit of oil (like baby oil) and a good scrub.

Remove temporary tattoos

1. Oil or Alcohol: Get some baby oil, coconut oil, olive oil, or rubbing alcohol. These can help break down the ink.
2. Apply the Oil or Alcohol: Soak a cotton ball or a soft cloth in your chosen oil or alcohol. Then gently rub it over the tattoo.
3. Wait a Bit: Let the oil or alcohol sit on the tattoo for a minute. This helps loosen the tattoo from your skin.
4. Rub Gently: Use the soaked cotton ball or cloth to rub the tattoo area gently. The tattoo should start to peel or dissolve away.

6. Moisturize: After washing and drying the area, it's a good idea to apply some moisturizer. This helps keep your skin soft and healthy.

If the tattoo is stubborn, you might need to repeat these steps a couple of times. But usually, temporary tattoos come off quite easily with this method.
